"Nestled along the picturesque Bang Tao Beach in Laguna, Phuket, this beach club occupies a unique stretch of land between the ocean and a tranquil lagoon.
Our design approach focuses on creating a variety of experiences along the length of the beach club, aiming to provide diverse perspectives of the stunning surroundings. The building's linear layout maximizes views from the dining and bar areas, while the gently curving design ensures each section offers its own distinctive mood, ambiance, and vista. Despite the variation in experience, the entire structure is unified by a gable roof that seamlessly connects the spaces. Each gable is uniquely treated with some feature skylights, while others are split to form lean-to roofs, adding individuality while maintaining an overall sense of cohesion.
The entrance is carefully designed to conceal the expansive beach view and gable roof at first glance. A high, curved wall with a bamboo-clad roof overhang creates a welcoming drop-off area. The organic randomness of the bamboo evokes a sense of tranquility, inviting guests into a serene and nature-infused environment. Upon entering the beach club, guests are greeted by an earth-toned reception lobby, illuminated by strip skylights that draw the eye toward the ocean beyond. From here, guests can easily access the Grill Master, the main restaurant, designed in an oval shape reminiscent of a chimney. Stepping inside, guests are enveloped by the warm, rustic atmosphere of rocks and logs, with the kitchen and skylight design further elevating the space, offering a dining experience unlike any other.
At the far left, the bar area serves as a lively, dynamic zone, with its curved bar and speaker pillars adding a sense of excitement. The beachfront pool spans across the property, with a unique design in each zone, its curves aligning harmoniously with the building's layout."
