"In parallel with the Simply Thai - Plaza 66 project, which played a pivotal role in initiating the core design concept, Simply Thai - Grand Gateway Mall was developed as a continuation of this vision. While Plaza 66 set the foundation with its distinct approach to blending traditional Thai aesthetics with modern design, the Grand Gateway Mall location further refined and implemented these ideas, even completing the project ahead of its counterpart.
For Simply Thai - Grand Gateway Mall, IF focused on creating a unique and engaging experience for customers, drawing inspiration from the concepts explored at Plaza 66. One of the standout features is the introduction of a cabinet wall between the kitchen and dining area. This design element piques the curiosity of diners by offering both decorative Thai items and practical functions, such as storage, a service station, and concealing the kitchen door.
Incorporating the brand’s corporate colors, some cabinets feature small green or red windows, providing customers with a view of the kitchen’s activity, which strengthens the connection between the dining area and the heart of the restaurant—the kitchen. This thoughtful design not only enhances the overall dining experience but also adds an element of cultural immersion, connecting customers to the story of Thai cuisine."
