ถ้าความเป็นไทยถูกตีความผ่านภาพจำและประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวจะเป็นอย่างไร?
“Akara Sky Hanuman” จุดหมายแห่งการสังสรรค์ใจกลางเพลินจิต ตั้งอยู่บนชั้น 58 และ 61 ของอาคาร OCC (One City Centre) พัฒนาโดย Akara Hospitality ที่มีความตั้งใจจะสร้าง Food and Beverage Outlet ที่สะท้อนความเป็นไทยในมิติร่วมสมัย มอบประสบการณ์ที่แตกต่างและดึงดูดทั้งชาวไทยและนักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วโลก
แรงบันดาลใจของโครงการได้หยิบยกตํานานของ “หนุมาน” ผู้เป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งพลัง ความทุ่มเท และชัยชนะ ผสานเข้ากับกลิ่นอายของไทยในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 ซึ่งเป็นยุคแห่งการเปิดรับความทันสมัยโดยไม่ละทิ้งรากเหง้าทางวัฒนธรรม เรื่องราวนี้ถูกถ่ายทอดผ่านงานออกแบบ ศิลปะ และการแสดง ผ่านพื้นที่ทั้ง 8 โซนของโครงการ
โดยโครงการนี้ IF ได้มีโอกาสออกแบบพื้นที่ภายใน 3 โซนหลัก ได้แก่
1. Hanuman Rooftop Garden — บาร์บนชั้นดาดฟ้าที่ตีความมรดกไทยผ่านประสบการณ์เหนือระดับ
2. Baan Hanuman — บาร์ที่นำแรงบันดาลใจจากบรรยากาศร่มรื่นของเรือนไทยมาสร้างสรรค์ไว้บนระเบียง
3. Siam Societies — เลานจ์ที่บอกเล่าเสน่ห์ของยุครัชกาลที่ 5 ผ่านการตกแต่ง อาหาร เครื่องดื่ม และดนตรี
ในการออกแบบครั้งนี้ IF มุ่งเน้นที่จะต่อยอดมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมไทยตามเจตนารมณ์ของโครงการ พร้อมผสานประวัติศาสตร์ ศิลปะ และเทคโนโลยีเข้าด้วยกัน เพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์พิเศษและไม่เหมือนที่ไหนให้แก่ผู้มาเยือน

What would Thai heritage look like if reinterpreted through personal memory and lived experience?
“Akara Sky Hanuman” emerges as a new destination for gathering and celebration in the heart of Ploenchit, occupying the 58th and 61st floors of the OCC (One City Centre). Developed by Akara Hospitality, the project aspires to establish a contemporary food and beverage landmark that embodies Thai identity in a renewed dimension—curating experiences that resonate with both local patrons and international visitors.
The design narrative draws inspiration from the legend of Hanuman, a symbol of strength, devotion, and triumph. This mythical spirit is intertwined with the cultural atmosphere of King Rama V’s era—a transformative period in which Siam embraced modernity while preserving its cultural roots. The story unfolds through architecture, art, and performance across eight distinctive zones within the project.
IF was entrusted with the design of three primary zones, including:
1. Hanuman Rooftop Garden — an open-air bar reinterpreting Thai heritage through elevated spatial experiences.
2. Baan Hanuman — a bar inspired by the serenity of traditional Thai houses, translated into an intimate balcony setting.
3. Siam Societies — a lounge that embodies the refinement of King Rama V’s era through interior detailing, gastronomy, beverages, and live music.
Through this commission, IF sought to extend the cultural legacy of Thailand in alignment with the project’s vision—merging history, artistry, and technology into a singular spatial narrative that offers visitors an extraordinary and unparalleled experience.
