ผ่านประสบการณ์การใช้งาน จะมีหน้าตาอย่างไร?

“Xin Xe Goi” เกิดจากความตั้งใจที่จะบอกเล่าเรื่องราวของซอยนานา ซึ่งสมัยก่อนถูกเรียกว่า “ซินแซโกย” หรือ “ตรอกโรงหมอ” เราจึงได้นำชื่อเดิมกลับมา และถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวนั้นผ่านการออกแบบร้านอาหารและบาร์ ที่ผสานความร่วมสมัยเข้ากับกลิ่นอายวัฒนธรรมจีนในอดีต ให้กลมกลืนไปกับสภาพแวดล้อมเดิมของซอย

โลโก้ของซินแซโกยเป็นรูปกระต่ายตำยา ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของหมอผู้รักษาตามความเชื่อจีน สะท้อนความตั้งใจของเราที่อยากเยียวยาผู้คนผ่านการออกแบบในหลากหลายมิติ ตั้งแต่มิติด้านบริบททางประวัติศาสตร์ การออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรม ไปจนถึงประสบการณ์การใช้งาน ทั้งอาหาร เครื่องดื่ม ดนตรี และอื่นๆ

ในโปรเจกต์นี้ IF ได้รีโนเวทอาคารเก่าในซอยนี้เพื่อนำตรอก “ซินแซโกย” ในอดีตมาทาบทับลงบนซอยนานาในปัจจุบัน เพื่อเป็นจุดหมายที่ผู้คนไม่ใช่เพียงมาทานอาหาร แต่เป็นสถานที่ให้มาใช้เวลาซึมซับบรรยากาศ และสัมผัสประสบการณ์ที่มีแค่ในตรอกโรงหมอนี้เท่านั้น

Old building, New Narrative

What would architecture that narrates the history of Yaowarat

through lived experience look like?

“Xin Xe Goi” was conceived from the intention to tell the story of Soi Nana, once known as “Xin Xe Goi” or “Doctor’s Alley.” We revived its original name and translated that heritage into the design of a restaurant and bar that merges contemporary expression with traces of Chinese cultural identity, seamlessly integrating into the existing urban fabric of the alley.

The project’s logo—a rabbit preparing medicine—draws from a Chinese symbol of healing and physicians. It reflects our aspiration to create design that restores and nurtures, across multiple dimensions: from historical and architectural context, to user experience shaped through food, drink, music, and atmosphere.

For this project, Integrated Field (IF) renovated an old building in the alley to overlay the memory of “Xin Xe Goi” onto present-day Soi Nana. The result is not merely a dining destination, but a place for people to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and encounter experiences that exist only within this once-legendary “Doctor’s Alley.”
