The architecture of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives by IF (Integrated Field) is envisioned as a stage for nature rather than a dominating form. Set within the fragile ecosystem of the Maldives, the design carefully frames the sea, sky, and palms, turning each vista into a living artwork. Villas are shaped by gently curving privacy walls that preserve seclusion without blocking views, while materials like sand-toned finishes and warm timber details blur the line between built structure and natural landscape. Natural light, tactility, and openness guide the experience, ensuring that nature remains the true focal point.

The architecture of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives is conceived not as a statement of form, but as a stage for nature. Set within the delicate ecosystem of the Maldives, the design approach avoids imposition and instead seeks harmony—allowing the island's raw beauty to lead. Buildings are positioned to frame the sea, the skies, and the palms, turning every view into a living artwork. The guiding ethos behind the project is simple yet profound: nature is the hero.

Located at the corner of Charoen Krung and the Phitthaya Sathian Bridge, The Corner House—formerly known as Chai Phatthanasilp Building—has stood for over a century, quietly witnessing the evolution of Talat Noi and Samphanthawong. Through its many lives—first as a soda factory, then a shoe warehouse, later an indoor skate park—this structure has always adapted. When INTEGRATED FIELD was invited to renovate it into a new community and cultural space, we saw an opportunity to both preserve and rediscover.

The Corner House renovation project transforms a building over 100 years old into a mixed-use space that connects the community in this neighborhood. The Corner House, formerly known as Chai Phatthana Sin, is an old building that stands prominently on the corner of Charoen Krung Road.

AGAL Gallery cultural renovation project designed by IF (Integrated Field) in Thailand transformed a two-story residential home into a gallery space that merges Thai-Chinese design heritage with contemporary expression. The project preserves the building’s original structure while integrating handcrafted materials and spatial modifications, including a central hallway that connects narrow rooms into a functional showroom. A modern photography studio named Saeng Ngao Sathan was added adjacent to the gallery to reflect the owner’s passion for photography, introducing minimalist contrast and expanding the program through a shared gathering space beneath a waffle roof. The gallery presents AGAL’s signature brass casting and gold leaf techniques across display rooms connected by a red walkway, which organizes the spatial narrative and emphasizes contrasts of light and shadow. Each room highlights specific furniture styles, sculptures, and painting works, unifying the brand’s identity through material craft and spatial rhythm.
