IF participated in a short structural design workshop with professor Jun Sato, structural engineer from Japan.

The workshop was about experimenting the structural property of given materials and composing them into the possible structure.

The selected material, rattan, was constructed into a flexible curved structure by connecting each "tear drop" shaped unit altogether.
